Activities:
- did a little more road mending on the M1, moving rocks/stones by car from the eroded gullies on new heath over the the M1. The stones are being built up on the outside of the road to make it more horizontal finally.
Some rocks were taken from just below the m1 itself. The rocks are loose and 'uninhabited'. If there are ants nest underneath, they are left.
- Went along to an area on the south west of beeches avenue, just before the cross roads. pulled and lopped a large number of pine and birch saplings.
Observations:
- Anthony felt a little ill, and went home after lunch with Justine.
- flock of 8 crossbills
