42 species is pretty good, but as always there are obvious omissions. Where were the bullfinch, greenfinch, longtailed tit?
However Collared Dove is seldom found. Is this Jilly keeping hens? Red Kite is the second on a bird count.
Spotted flycatcher is probably even rarer than either at Old lodge now. A nice record.
Turtle dove appears to be no more here. I am not aware of any sitings this year.
linnets, redpolls and siskins are probably breeding in small numbers.
Coal tits and dunnocks are just keeping low and hardly seen at all.
Good numbers of redstarts.
