5th September 2017 ... weekly volunteers

Present:

Ian, mike m, mike p, Keith, Bernard, David p, and Martin

Activities:

- looked the ponies
- puddled the new berm on south heath
- cleared most of schmond pond
- attempted but failed to mend one mattock. Has been taken away for mending
- extracted some brash from the edge of the copse to the side of the store, and made a brash pile near the fire site at the fence
- cut some logs
- brought more logs into store
- tested the two man saws
- picked some Blackberries

Observations:

- ponies now on south heath
- rain set in about lunch time, and then not pleasant
- 4 young woodlarks
- young Dartford warbler
- first half of damsons distributed
- an over ripe banana donated to the needy
