Tuesday, 11 September 2018 ... weekly volunteers


Description:Present: John, Keith, Bob, Stuart, Pat, Anda, David a, David w, Bernard, Ian, Mike m, Ben and Martin. Mark mt joined us Activities: - coppiced the willow in front of the shed. Brash piled near squeeze gate for later burning - created new log pile runners - cut some logs in the shed - looked the ponies. Could not find the cattle. They were seen yesterday and tomorrow - checked out the areas of bracken that had been sprayed - checked and cleared the complete circular route through ol2 - moved 7 loads of logs from ol2 to shed - removed one plastic cover that is splitting, and installed a new one from Keith. - John did survey for Ben - Unloaded some new reptile tins that keith has made - Observations: - Anda is expecting in new year - new neighbours moving in. Henry - Martin recovering, David w fit - 2 hobbies - kestrel - stonechats, missel thrushes - weather overcast, gusty and cool. Fine for log moving - john lost and found his jersey, again - mark described future plans - various shop transactions. Honey now all gone. Last to mark Martin
