Present:

Activities:
- looked the ponies
- bagged up some peat from roller stand
- cleaned both water troughs
- watered and checked the cherries. The water butt is now empty before tonight's rain
- watered the hornbeam
- successfully put up the kestrel box, and cleared a flight path
- did some bramble clearance in front of the shed
- demolished the old kissing gate, recycling the wood onto the log piles at the car park and the metal wires etc into Nick's vehicle.
- erected most of the new kissing gate. Some work will be needed next week on the latch, the enclosure and rails.
Observations:
- woodlarks, chiffchaffs, song thrush, chaffinches,
- a bit murky and cool, after the recent heat wave. Drizzle at the end of play.
