Activities:
- looked the ponies
- did two thirds of the nestbox survey
- surveyed the paddy field for future work
- dug up and disposed of three cornered leeks and ? on the route up to the car park
- cut bracken along many of the tracks
- tidied up some birch brash behind the tool store
- some bracken peat and pea stakes were taken as perks
- some logs sawn up
- reptile survey of the tins done
Observations:
- two adders found under a tin on south heath
- very hot weather
- wood larks, tree pipits, siskins, redstarts
- tadpoles checked
- small frogs found near paddy field
- sundews emerging
