Activities:
- looked the ponies and cattle
- big sweep of bracken pulling across under the powerlines, and down to the stream. And then pulling on south heath
- watered cherries and hornbeams
- trimmed some bramble along the road and paths near the tool shed
- made the basics of an Irish bridge just down from where the hung tree was felled
- put in posts either side of gate opening into south heath from the road, to stop people getting their cars stuck. Similar post near the beech opposite the roller stand.
- cleared ragwort at the cricket pitch, leaving some with cinnabar moth caterpillars
Observations:
- No ssb
- Plenty of gatekeepers
- Crossbills
- Spotted Flycatchers at cricket field and shed
- Discussed BBQ at wood mill
- Lots of honey jars
