Description:Present: Anda, John n, John, Jonathan, Neil, Alan, Ian, Mike m, Mike p, Mark, Ben, Bernard, Terry, David w, Stuart, David a, Keith, and Martin Activities: - looked the ponies - two thirds of the best box survey done - more work on the road edge - bracken pulling right across the centre and then up and down from the high beeches - watered some saplings near foresters cottage heave gate - decided not to do same at the tool store - brought back a nest box for repair - investigated the works on ol2 side of cricket pitch Observations: - probable grass snake in the centre - weather fine for bracken pulling. Not too hot or sunny - no dodder yet - plenty of bog beacon - again hiding from one particular blue tit nest - one lot of great tit have already flown - generally poor year for nests - more disbelief that someone is on Facebook Martin
