Activities:
- looked the ponies and cattle
- completed the renovations of the causeway under the power lines. Took some earth from the sides of level pond. Looks good
- Keith took more Holly for making mallets
- reptile survey done
- Inspected the pond at bottom of south heath
- collected the besom bitch twigs from the oak tree and put up into the roof void of the shed
- disposed of a rotting 'woodpile' plastic sheet, and put out a new one
- filled some bags of peat
- inspected the drainage cuts on the m1
- cut more of the old chestnut stumps at the roller stand
- cleared pine saplings above the causeway works
Observations:
- nice mild weather
- very dark adder near shed
- 2 slow worms and lizard under tins
- new neighbors have arrived
